ALPFA CCNY is the student-led chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals For America at The City College of New York. Founded on the belief that representation and access are key to professional success, our chapter is dedicated to supporting students—particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds—as they navigate academic, career, and leadership journeys.
While our roots are grounded in empowering the Latino community, ALPFA CCNY proudly welcomes all students who are passionate about professional development, career exploration, and giving back to their communities. We aim to create an inclusive space where ambition is nurtured, identities are celebrated, and every member is equipped with the tools they need to thrive.
Our programming spans a variety of disciplines, with a focus on finance, technology, business, and consulting. Through high-impact workshops, office tours, panels, and hands-on leadership opportunities, we expose our members to real-world experiences that prepare them for internships, full-time roles, and graduate programs. We are proud to collaborate with top firms and organizations—building strong pipelines between our members and the industries they aspire to lead in.
Mentorship is also at the heart of what we do. From one-on-one guidance to peer-led mentorship initiatives, we prioritize building meaningful relationships that help students succeed both personally and professionally. Whether you're exploring your first internship or preparing to launch your career, ALPFA CCNY offers the network, resources, and community to support you every step of the way.

Our Story
Founded in Spring 2024, our chapter emerged from
a vision—to build something that could empower,
elevate, and endure. Inspired by the success and
community impact of ALPFA chapters nationwide,
we set out to create a space that not only reflected
that legacy but reimagined it through the lens of our
own experiences and aspirations.
What makes us different is our people. We are
students from all corners of campus—diverse in
background, major, ambition, and story. Yet despite our differences, we’re united by a common purpose: to grow as leaders, uplift those around us, and build bridges between potential and opportunity.
Here, collaboration thrives, leadership is cultivated, and ambition is met with action. This isn’t just another student organization—it’s a catalyst for growth, a space for innovation, and a community where everyone belongs and every goal is valid.
